Kuvera Partners Opens Mini-Golf Course in Branson

August 17, 2010

Shoot for the Stars, the first fully-interactive Hollywood-themed mini-golf course, made its debut in Branson, MO today, according to developer Kuvera Partners. The 18-hole mini-golf experience takes players through the landmarks of Hollywood on their path to becoming a Hollywood star.

The original concept, storyline, and characters were created by Kuvera Partners, who observed that the other mini-golf courses in the marketplace were designed primarily for kids and located in family fun center environments. “We saw an opportunity to attract a broader spectrum of customers,” said Partner Tej Sundher. “We designed the course to be eye-catching and fun for everyone, but we gave it a whole subtext that is appreciated by adults.”

Some examples include: getting advice from a gold-chain-wearing agent; gathering fun facts about celebrity headshots and hair-dos; and, putting (instead of strutting) on the red carpet at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.

“Adults will also appreciate the entertainment value,” said Sundher. Located next door to the Hollywood Entertainment Center, Shoot for the Stars is available in combination tickets with the Hollywood Wax Museum, Castle of Chaos and Hannah’s Maze of Mirrors. “For the same price, or less, parents can enjoy a wide range of activities with their kids instead of waiting while they feed video machines,” he said.
